The Art of Respect will be a day devoted to celebrating the gifts and friendship of Louisiana citizens who live with intellectual, developmental and / or physical disabilities. DHH employees statewide support the ongoing national effort to raise the conciousness of society about the dehumanizing and hurtful effects of the R-word. On Tuesdays, April 8, 2014, we are inviting students, schools and communities to challenge everyone to think before they speak and replace th R-word with a different R-word, RESPECT.
